AVI is a high-end residentional design studio based in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. From the first sketch to the last installed piece, we manage the whole project under one roof. One team, one process, and one contract. Nothing is designed in isolation.
AVI began with three partners, each rooted in their own discipline — residential design, interior design, and construction. We founded the studio to bring that combined expertise under one roof, so every home is shaped by real building experience long before the first wall goes up.
That approach shapes how we work. We design homes that reflect each client's life. Every home is deeply personal, shaped around the way the family actually lives.

We start with people
Not with square footage, finishes, or budgets, but with the people who'll live there. How the family moves through a day, what they want home to feel like when they walk in. The brief comes from the life first, and the design follows from it.
One team, one home
Home design, interiors, and the details in between are designed together from the first day. Nothing is resolved in isolation: the layout, the light, the materials, and the landscape all answer to each other. When it's done right, you don't notice the coordination. The home simply feels like it belongs together.
A wider perspective
We're based in the Pacific Northwest, but we've designed across the country and abroad. Working in different places widens the lens: different ways of living, different climates, different solutions. That range is what we bring back to every project.

We design in a way you can experience in advance, through 3D visualization, 360 tours, BIMx models, and virtual reality. You don't have to imagine the result. You can walk through it, understand how it comes together, and make decisions with confidence.

Every surface, fixture, and finish defined and rendered before construction begins, then translated into a documentation package no contractor can misinterpret.
